THE OPPORTUNITY

The Global Growth & Digital Sales team at Adobe ensures customers achieve success relative to their intent and derive significant membership value, while delivering Adobe shareholder value seen in ARR growth and critical metric performance improvements. The team drives global growth through key business levers such as promotional strategy, free customer conversion, add-on/up-sell and customer retention.

This role will help lead, drive and craft the promotional strategy for Adobe across Creative & Document cloud businesses - from strategy and planning through merchandising and operational execution and development of insights globally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Build an annual global promotional strategy and roadmaps in partnership with Regional Sales and Product teams. Collaborate with Finance and Analytics to build quarterly and annual ARR and align on other critical metrics.
  • Drive merchandising strategy across key digital surfaces such as Adobe.com, Paid Media, Email, Checkout etc. to drive increased incrementality.
  • Understand performance and drive measurement of A/B tests with the Insights & Analytics team. Help to develop business cases for suggested roadmap including, but not limited to, level of and expected return on capital and marketing investments, and sales results.
  • Undertake market research for adjacent and similar SaaS companies to better understand market dynamics and opportunities in approach to using promotions and other short-term pricing optimization levers.
  • Lead and track financial/operational metrics to monitor performance against annual goals, complete ad-hoc analysis and/or opportunity sizing to inform strategic decisions on promotions.
  • Partner with the Commerce team to develop new functionality and capabilities on the Product roadmap.
  • Partner with teams from Product, Marketing, Analytics, Finance to GTM to build, implement, measure, and refine A/B test plans.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • BS/BA with 6-8+ years SaaS, digital and online/e-commerce experience, and/or management consulting experience, MBA preferred.
  • Understanding of online business and pricing models and how to test and optimize the customer experience to deliver results. A/B testing and revenue growth experience, experience with promotional/pricing strategy a significant plus.
  • Customer obsessed, self-starter exhibiting strong leadership in moving initiatives forward within a highly matrixed organization with the ability to develop strong relationships across product, analytics, finance, marketing operations, etc. and work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Proven excellence in conceptual thinking and problem-solving - you must love data and ask the question "why". Strong analytical thinking, ability to create test and learn plans, size opportunities, and measure incremental results.
  • Proactive in identifying new opportunities and bringing them to execution, using standard methodologies and previous findings to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Project management skills to prioritize and drive initiatives forward.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, both verbal and written communication, at all levels.
  • Global cultural awareness and experience with global teams.
  • Strong ownership mentality with an excellent sense of humor.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,900 -- $201,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
