Why this role matters

Vonage HR Business Intelligence helps leaders make better decisions. We collect, integrate, analyze and present information about our people and trends. We do this by leveraging technology and sophisticated analytical methodologies, slicing and dicing to uncover key facts and gain valuable insights.  This role is an individual contributor, providing a range of analysis and advice.

Where you will work

Remote: You will be home based in the USA, and there will not be an expectation of you to commute to an office on a daily basis.

What you will do

  • Partner with subject matter experts to understand the analytical tools, technologies and methodologies applied to gather, sort and analyze HR data.
  • Work with team members, technical teams and other stakeholders to build and validate data flow.
  • Build reports and dashboards within Tableau.
  • Use data visualization, reports and data-driven presentations to present trends, insights and recommendations to key decision makers.
  • Work with fellow team members and business leaders in support of large projects with long-term value-adding potential.

What you will bring

Required

  • Prior experience (3-5 years) in a Business Intelligence or related position.
  • Solid knowledge of Tableau, HRIS and data management.
  • Strong technical capabilities with SQL, data warehouses, ETL processes, and data integration tools.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with the HR function
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of database management systems and applications.
  • Ability to:
    • Multitask, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Interact and communicate with all levels of staff in both business and technical areas.
    • Identify and systematically analyze substantive issues.

Desirable

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related area 
  • Experience in  the telecommunications industry
