About the role:

Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO) the Senior HR Business Partner, Marketing operates as a trusted advisor to the Marketing President and provides HR support for the company’s Marketing capability which includes over 500 staff across four US-based and 2 UK-based lines of business. The Senior HRBP is a member of both the Global HR Leadership Team and the Marketing Leadership Team. The Senior HRBP coaches the capability leadership team and provides expertise in the execution of the talent strategy, employee engagement and retention, performance management, organizational change and structure, workforce planning, talent management, leadership effectiveness, total rewards, and employee relations.

What you'll do:

  • Evaluate talent across capability advising managers and leaders to ensure performance and productivity targets are reached
  • Lead talent management and workforce planning activities within assigned capability
  • Lead organizational design and restructuring activities for capability group when necessary
  • Leads the HRBP’s assigned to Marketing lines of business
  • Develop succession plans for the leadership and management of the capability
  • Coach and mentor HR Business Partners, offering guidance regarding complex operational issues, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Provide HR and leader coaching support to the assigned leadership/management and supervisory team
  • Ensure that capability is delivering on approved fiscal year key metrics/KPI’s performance and productivity across capability. 
  • Partner with assigned Finance Business Partner to provide data driven insights and recommendations
  • Deliver and champion HR programs led by Diversity & Inclusion Center of Excellence
  • Input to champion delivery of HR programs developed by Career Experience Center of Excellence focusing on employee experience and engagement, learning and development, and internal communications.
  • Coach and mentor line managers in all aspects of HR
  • Coach leaders to successfully manage all fiscal year people management processes (performance management, compensation planning, etc.).
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations and provide appropriate management recommendations.
  • Partner with talent acquisition lead on recruiting and staffing in support of the capability’s workforce plan
  • Partner and support leaders, managers, and employees across business unit teams on day-to-day operational processes, providing guidance and expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with US employment laws and governance
  • Foster a high performing, high engagement culture to ensure our people are productive, engaged, and motivated
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, informing our processes and decisions.

About you:

  • You will effectively influence, consult with, and coach senior leaders and managers.
  • Demonstrate confidence and resilience when engaging with colleagues at all levels
  • Navigate and leverage HR systems to gather data to support internal client consultation
  • Demonstrate and foster collaboration among peers and global HR team
  • Build trusted partnerships and work effectively with people at all levels
  • Strategically prioritize time and problem solve against most impactful activities and initiatives
  • Be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to educate and influence through formal and informal communications
  • Maintain current understanding of related employment laws, concepts and practices related to the administration of a variety of human resources programs
  • Demonstrate expertise in organizational development such as organizational design and change management
  • Demonstrated creative healthcare agency experience
