Summary: This position is responsible for delivery of both strategic and tactical HR support and programs to business leadership and team members. This position works with the leadership team in defining and stewarding the company culture and establishing and maintaining a high-performance culture and workplace. The Sr. HRBP works with their SLT partner and collaborates cross functionally to deliver HR services and solutions in line with the business unit strategy (Recruiting, Talent Development, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations).

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Contributes to the business strategy by helping to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
  2. Supports business unit leaders in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements needed for the future (strategic workforce planning).
  3. Leverages HR / business skills and knowledge to challenge or influence leadership in decision-making processes.
  4. Keeps Human Resources leadership and other senior management advised on trends, issues and areas of concern. Provides forward-looking, strategic counsel to internal business partners.
  5. Role model, champion and drive transformation and utilize change management tools.
  6. Participates in business strategy and planning meetings and works closely with business leaders to ensure the application of human resource policies and programs.
  7. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group and business leaders to develop solutions, programs and policies to improve the associate experience, retention and development of associates.
  8. Monitors the enterprise climate; identifies problems and areas of concern and works proactively and preemptively with management to resolve them.
  9. Works closely with management teams and associates to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  10. Provides guidance and training to leadership on subjects related to human resources and management skills needed to manage the workforce, including selection, coaching, performance management, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  11. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, realignments, workforce planning, talent reviews and succession planning.
  12. Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Advises and counsels business leaders on employee relations issues and recommended actions and outcomes.
  13. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  14. Stays abreast of applicable human resources regulations and trends; utilizes this knowledge in day-to-day activities.


What You'll Bring To The Company:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 6-8 plus years applicable experience.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including organization design, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Extensive Knowledge of the principles and practices of organizational development/effectiveness/behavior with the ability to positively impact the structure, culture, and effectiveness of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen, in-depth knowledge of the business, and the ability to effectively implement HR Strategies to support business goals.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with leaders and HR partners.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including effective listening, writing and presentation.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and facilitation skills with the ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with business leaders and HR peers.
  • Proven ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.
  • Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deal with and resolve ambiguous, confidential, and sensitive situations and issues of a complex nature while providing flexible solutions.
