You will collaboratively and proactively recommend strategic HR solutions to improve critical business outcomes and ensure a consistent, integrated delivery approach. As the trusted advisor to your business portfolio leader(s), you will leverage your subject matter expertise to inform and influence optimal business decisions and outcomes.

What you will do:
Leverage your extensive subject matter experience and serve as a trusted, collaborative advisor to the company's senior portfolio leaders.
- Establish yourself as the primary People Operations contact and advisor, tapping into your broad network as you influence and drive key priorities
- Build and maintain positive working relationships across the organization, while you assess, advise, and influence leaders on business and people-related issues
- Deliver consistent, transparent communications that ensure the business remains updated and informed, in a timely manner, of issues pertaining to their respective organizations
- Serve as a strategic talent broker for the portfolio(s) you support by gaining a deep knowledge of the talent, their strengths, opportunities, and career aspirations, and assist leaders in proactively supporting talent identification and development activities that drive engagement, productivity and retention
- Proactively drive appropriate people strategies and promote organizational effectiveness (e.g., ongoing performance management, employee engagement and development, talent assessment, succession planning, organizational design, compensation planning, leadership development, DEI, and global cultural awareness)
- Provide comprehensive human resources consultation including counseling, coaching and guidance while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws in accordance with the policies and practices of the company
- As the business continues to reshape itself, position yourself as a change-agent with goals of providing a world class customer and employee experience; demonstrate courage and resilience as you probe and challenge topics that may be difficult but paramount to success
- Analyze, monitor, and present key metrics to identify relevant trends; recommend solutions based on findings
- Lead large-scale enterprise project implementations such as organizational development and design, inclusive of change management
- Retain strong partnerships with People Operation functions (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards & HR Systems, Employee Relations, DEI, etc.) to engage, plan, and execute comprehensive talent initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years Human Resources progressive experience in a HRBP capacity, or generalist capacity with progressive responsibility inclusive of leading large HR initiatives and/or projects with, or combination experience, education & superior performance
- Solid business and financial acumen with ability to align goals to organizational success, e.g., compensation philosophy, workforce planning, talent reviews, organizational design, etc.
- Proven ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking, advanced analytical and innovative skills as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions
- Customer centric focus ensuring timeliness of delivery and outcomes
- Proven ability to influence culture and create alignment between business goals, behaviors, talent development and performance
- Ability to actively listen to, relate to, influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization
- Demonstrated ability to drive major initiatives through the organization and influence decision makers at all levels
- Consultative/problem-solving mindset; constantly reevaluating how we can improve and do things better
- Advanced levels of project and change management skills with strong communication and follow through
- Significant knowledge of employment laws, statutes, etc. which govern employment policies and practices
- Passion for people; lead with empathy with significant ability to maintain the highest levels of discretion
- Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy, optimism and sense of humor
- Tech savvy with expertise in respective HCM system
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other advanced degree
- PHR, SPHR, GPHR, HRMP or HYBP certifications
- Software industry experience
- Financial institution experience
- Start-up or early growth company experience and leading larger teams through change
- Workday experience
- Salesforce experience
