The Role
The Global Supply Chain Sr HR Director is a critical leader who supports the Global Supply Chain Officer and the Global Supply Chain team with responsibility as a strategic advisor and driver of talent and culture initiatives to deliver business results, e.g. succession planning, performance management, executive recruiting, employee engagement, employee relations, career and capability development, workforce planning/analytics. In addition, the role leads Global Employee Relations strategy and union relations. The role reports to the CHRO.
Key accountabilities and business priorities
- Serve as the HR Leader for the SVP Global Supply Chain and the team.
- Lead an HR team of four direct reports to deliver the full range of strategic consulting and operational HR services.
- Create and develop the organization and processes which enable the strategic vision of the Global Supply Chain organization, led by the SVP Global Supply Chain, their leadership team, and the Global Supply Chain Council.
- Ensure that the operating group(s) of Global Supply Chain have the human capital support necessary for execution of the Company's Strategic Business Plan in their area.
- Align the leadership team to model and embed K-C Ways of Working (K-C Compass) across their respective organizations.
- Develop and drive stakeholder change management plans appropriate to support transformational change across relevant K-C geographies and businesses globally.
- Provide organization development and effectiveness strategies and solutions which respond to a dynamic and evolving business environment including functional capability needs.
- Liaise with our Globally affiliated Unions (Industrial and UNI) to build relationships, drive K-C delivery against existing comments and agree to future strategic priorities.
- Partner with BU Supply Chain HR leaders to:
- influence and align global Employee Relations strategies and monitor areas of high risk.
- design and deliver a truly enterprise-wide approach to talent succession and high potential development
- Ensure that a global mindset is brought to the work and team, which respects the local markets that our teams operate and win in.
- Lead key HR processes and initiatives, leveraging and partnering with COEs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources discipline or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 10 years in a Human Resources position at a business unit or global functional level.
- Broad understanding of diverse management styles, legal, and employment issues and exposure to global employment issues and legal considerations.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations.
- Proven results as a Human Resources Leader in a Supply Chain environment (Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Quality).
- Proven track record of success in supporting transformational change.
- Strong HR consulting skills, with an ability and willingness to shift nimbly between driving a strategic agenda and personal delivering tactical service operations. Strong strategic agility, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills - proven high learning agility
- Decisive, yet highly collaborative and inclusive
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced setting; enthusiastic about the potential strategic options facing Kimberly-Clark; well-grounded in pragmatic approaches to structuring options available
- Experience working in the context of a large, complex, global organization where working across boundaries and leading through influence are keys to success
- Experience of effectively influencing senior executives and aligning functional peers across a globally-matrixed organization, with the credibility and maturity and stamina to operate effectively at a senior level.
- Unquestionable integrity and ethics.
- Superior written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in highly-ambiguous and changing business and organizational environments.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate a team of direct reports to deliver exceptional results.
