Role: Senior HR Manager
Location: London, UK

As a Sr. HR Manager in the Talent department, you’ll have the chance to: 

  • Act as a main day-to-day contact for all EMEA staff in relation to HR matters
  • Manage and develop the HR Assistant and HR Business Partner
  • Manage core HR areas in EMEA, including payroll, employee relations, HR admin, employee engagement, and maintaining HR systems 
  • Work closely with the SVP of Talent Business Partnership on a range of projects and plans designed to improve organisational effectiveness
  • Act as a partner to business leaders in-market, providing counsel and advice on best practices to solve People related issues and evolving organisational needs
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture in HR activities, ensuring that all elements of HR are being delivered with the highest level of quality, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Manage the implementation of global HR policies and procedures in-market
  • Ensure that MiQ complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation (including legislation on data protection, the Equality Act and health and safety) 
  • Partner with the TA team, ensuring all recruitment and selection activities are thorough, robust, and managed in line with MiQ’s recruitment strategy
  • Collaborate with the global HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results

What you’ll bring  

  • 6-8 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience with at least 2 years of direct experience managing another employee/ a team
  • Deep knowledge and experience of HR business partnering where you have held responsibility for HR operations and employee relations, preferably in a fast-paced and growing organization 
  • CIPD Certification preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of TUPE, ACAS, and HRMC guidelines and best practices 
  • The ability to develop and nurture relationships across departments
  • Experience leading change and communication plans across a large employee base
  • Experience executing global initiatives at a local level, ensuring consistency and quality in-market 
  • Working knowledge of immigration and associated compliance requirements 
  • Experience managing a team working within a rapidly changing environment 
  • Proven ability to remain focused and operate successfully under pressure 
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills - able to understand the “big picture” and trade-offs, able to negotiate and challenge effectively
  • A can-do attitude, with a dream to grow alongside us
