As the Senior HR Data Analyst, you will partner with HR and Business leaders to learn about our business strategies, goals and challenges. You will leverage your Analytics expertise to design and deliver people insights that enable data-driven HR decision making. The successful candidate will have extensive analytics experience and possess excellent communication and influencing skills. The impact of this role will be significant, and this is a terrific opportunity for someone who takes satisfaction from using his/her expertise to develop and drive the development of a data-driven culture. This role will be remote with occasional on-site visits to our Headquarters in Cleveland, OH.
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Gain an in-depth understanding of Lincoln's business strategies, goals and challenges
- Consult and collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and determine reporting/analytics solutions to fit them
- Independently mine our people data to identify patterns/insights
- Translate insights, and knowledge of business needs into clear, actionable opportunities in dashboards, scorecards, and ad-hoc analyses
- Prepare and deliver visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible solutions for business partners to implement
- Partner closely with the HR team to help them develop their analytical capabilities to better support our business
- Bring structure to business requests, translate requirements into an analytical project approach, and lead projects through completion
- Develop, own and manage recurring analytic or reporting processes, including report distribution
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of Lincoln's HR data including source systems and the data model within SuccessFactors
- Conduct regular audits of HR data and report on issues to be corrected
- Protect the data. Have an understanding of Data Privacy regulations and what is required to safeguard sensitive people data
- Validate/peer review analytical techniques/work product deployed by other analysts.
- Mentor, coach, train, and help develop junior data analysts.
- Proactively expand knowledge of business and analytics and share with team members.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Reporting/Data Analytics
- Knowledge and experience with HR concepts and terminology
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard development via analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with HCM/HRIS systems (SuccessFactors preferred)
- Critical thinking, synthesis, and analytical skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects/priorities
- The ability to effectively communicate statistical/technical analyses to non-technical audiences
- Strong team-player able to develop relationships with all levels
- Desire to grow Lincoln's Analytics function
- SuccessFactors Reporting certification preferred
- Access experience preferred
- Experience with US compliance reporting requirements preferred
