SUMMARY

Provides operational support for HR Total Rewards processes, projects, training, and HR systems workflow procedures. Provides direct support for the coordination and implementation of system and people process improvements and initiatives to improve the efficiency and scalability of HR services. Works closely with HR management to resolve complex problems, by defining scope, identifying viable options, and implementing approved solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESβ€’ Provides cross-functional support for Total Rewards and HR Systems teams; facilitates cross-functional processes, prepares procedures, and documents decision trees.β€’ Trains team members on internal HR operational process changes and HCM system procedures. β€’ Provides end-to-end support for HR Total Rewards and HR Systems projects and process improvement initiatives. β€’ Reviews processes and recommends improvements to streamline and automate where possible.β€’ Oversees employee and manager self-service experience and monitors internal workflow to ensure efficiency and accuracy. β€’ Performs various audits as a systems subject matter expert / super user to ensure completeness and accuracy of data in the HCM and document management system; researches and resolves errors, ensures data corrections are entered, and impacted employees are notified; and supports Total Rewards compliance initiativesβ€’ Handles department and allocation change requests; facilitates information gathering, system updates, and/or routing to Payroll and Corporate Accounting.β€’ Responsible for the Annual Data Project Processes such as Budget Department Change and Benefit Tier Changes.β€’ Supports post-acquisition integration with regard to employee data and document management or other implementation projects.β€’ Designs and maintains complex system reports, Excel, and Power BI.β€’ Manages physical file document retention and destruction.β€’ Assist Total Rewards teams with maintaining various HR systems and compliance projects.β€’ Maintain and audit the Book Staff Expense and Developing Producer Program data for Finance and Operations reporting.β€’ Reviews and recommends training topics for Alliant managers; coordinates with HR and Professional Development to build and maintain training content and deploy.β€’ Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Five (5) or more years' experience handling various HR administration processes

Including three (3) or more years implementing process improvement solutions

Advanced experience in HR Systems usage and configuration

SKILLS

Strong knowledge of best practices with regard to system employment records, data management, and retention

Demonstrated knowledge in HR system and workflow process improvement procedures

Proficient in working efficiently with large data sets and complex processes

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Advanced Excel skills and strong systems usage (preferred experience in Ceridian system)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to adapt to constantly shifting priorities in managing a wide-range of projects
