What You Will Contribute:
As a key member of the HRIS team, this position is primarily responsible for administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the global Workday HRIS. The Sr. HRIS Analyst also contributes to the identification, development and implementation of opportunities to improve processes and leverage system capabilities to deliver value to the organization and enhance the customer experience.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in the daily administration of the Workday HRIS system, ensuring the functionality and integrity of the system. This includes planning and executing recurring business processes such as Performance Management, Benefit Open Enrollment and Annual Merit processes.
- Provides HRIS support for end user issues, configuration maintenance, reporting or other systems requests. Support includes researching, troubleshooting and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Work with system experts, including outside consultants and Workday Community to resolve technical issues.
- Consult with HR and business stakeholders to define needs and provide solutions to those needs. Analyze requirements and identify the impact of system changes and security to ensure proper functionality. Properly test and document results. Analyze post-implementation results to ensure effective results.
- Create/update process documentation; develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train new and existing internal users on new processes/functionality. Create, coordinate, and execute test plans for projects, processes and releases. Ensure that test cases and results meet requirements and are documented.
- Lead small to medium scale projects or initiatives or participate on larger project teams including system upgrades, conversions, and enhancements. Collaborate with HR team members, end users, management and other SMEs to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all project/release work.
- Provide analysis and support for system interface modifications, define requirements and work with technical resources to implement new interfaces to both internal and external customers. Partner closely with outsourced and third party providers to create integration and interfaces.
- Administer security of all HR software programs and works closely with IS Department to ensure that necessary security and backup systems are in place.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to assist with effective systematic design, updates for enhancements to existing functionality, or new feature roll out. Identifies areas where operational and process improvements are needed.
- Stay abreast of emerging HR technology and system enhancements and provides recommendations as appropriate.
- Leads continuous improvement of Workday system functionality and processes, providing innovative suggestions and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience
- Microsoft Office - Intermediate
- Workday Fundamentals
- Workday Reporting
- Ability to write and analyze reports, review system audit reports and make recommendations on process or technical changes
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with interface design and support, and ability to read and write specifications.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to non-technical audience; conduct meetings, plan communication, and organize tasks and deployment schedule for technology tasks.
- 3+ years of HR system administration, including experience with multiple modules of Workday HCM such as Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management and Recruiting required.
