Bloom faces an unprecedented opportunity to change the world and the way companies utilize energy. We have recently launched a "game changing" solution called "Always on" that will help companies power their primary business operations without disruption with cleaner, more reliable electricity generated on-site with no combustion. We are looking for a thought leader Senior Human Resrouces Manager.

Location: This position will be based in San Jose

In this position, she/he will be responsible for the facilitation of organizational and leadership development efforts, change management through diverse business challenges working in a high growth fast pace dynamic environment, working with employees and managers to seek and address root causes of employee relations issues, and drive/maintain a high performing environment and culture.

The ideal person resolves employee relations and organizational development issues through a highly interactive and systematic approach, teams with senior management in the development of strategic solutions and implements work efforts in a manner that is within the cultural norms of the company. As a part of the greater Human Resources team, the person in this role will contribute to the development of company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., performance management, learning and development, workforce planning, and organizational change). The candidate for this role must demonstrate the ability to perform at a leadership level and be an integrated member of the management staff. The successful candidate will be able to seamlessly balance between employee advocacy and company leadership. In addition, the candidate must drive initiatives that are in line with the overall HR strategy, the company's strategic business priorities, as well as BE's culture and core values.

Role and Responsibilities:

Organization Development & Effectiveness

  • Continually scans the organization for opportunities to enhance capabilities and productivity, and acts as "hands-on consultant" to management in addressing opportunities for improvement
  • Assists operations leaders in identifying and defining resourcing requirements
  • Manages, analyzes, and utilizes appropriate workforce data from HRIS and other sources to make fact-based organization and people decisions

Talent Acquisition

  • Partners with TA and leadership to confirm job requirements and reviews and approves internal/external job postings
  • Ensures the efficient, timely, and cost-effective recruitment of qualified candidates for approved positions; partners with internal/external recruiting resources/agencies as needed

Performance Management & Talent Development

  • Provides input and implements core processes to improve employee performance and build organization capabilities
  • Facilitates performance assessment & calibration and individual development planning processes; ensures appropriate documentation and follow-up
  • Coaches people-managers at various levels to be effective leaders and team members
  • Ensures appropriate succession plans are in place for key positions and talent
  • Partners with business leadership and Legal department to reinforce the Company's ethical standards in accordance with the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Leverages engagement survey or other available information to drive proactive employee communications and engagement initiatives
  • Utilizes employee relations issues to diagnose and solve underlying HR issues throughout sites and develops and implements strategies to address these root causes
  • Demonstrates and balances company and employee advocacy in working with teams to address/mediate issues or capture opportunities

  • Provides consultation to operations leadership in administering the compensation and benefits for manufacturing employees, ensuring equitable practices are taking place across sites, and our practices are competitive to attract talent

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ plus years of direct relevant experience and must have managed a team before. Advanced degree strongly preferred• Work experience supporting finance or construction organization is preferred.

• Demonstrate the ability to coach, lead and develop organizations• Demonstrated success in a dynamic, frequently changing, and geographically dispersed environment• Excellent interpersonal skills and "Customer Focus" with ability to positively interact with Executives, business managers and vendors• Experience managing complex employee relations, federal & state laws, & dispute resolution• Good knowledge of compensation planning, modeling and analysis• Proven business acumen, excellent organizational, planning and project management skills

$159,100.00 - $228,900.00
