Rockstar HR Business Partner
ASRC Federal is seeking a dynamic and high energy HR Business Partner to provide proactive and strategic support to our corporate team (approximately 500 employees), in addition to Civilian Health Group (approximately 400 employees). This is not your standard HRBP role. We are looking for a progressive HR Business Partner that is strategic in nature, goal oriented and performance driven. This is an exciting opportunity for an HRBP that is forward thinking. One that appreciates and is comfortable with exposure to senior leadership.
This position can be primarily remote for now but must be within a commutable distance to our Reston, VA for future in person work 2 daysper week
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders to provide thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution that propels operational growth and success. Help leaders to create and execute on the vision for a world class Technology organization.
- Design and deliver talent reviews, succession planning, development planning and needs to drive organizational performance and talent growth. Guide business leaders to take a 'future ready' view of their talent and capabilities needs.
- Assist in the design and execution related to leadership development, diversity and inclusion, training, performance management, salary planning, etc.
- Deliver training (in person and virtually) to Executives, Managers, HR and individual contributors across the enterprise.
- Drive inclusive and positive organization culture across Shared Services as well as setting the example for the enterprise.
- Focus on the managerial effectiveness of business leaders through coaching, advisory support, and technical HR knowledge sharing.
- Provide change leadership in times of acquisition, systems implementations, and process/policy enhancement. Act as a 'voice of the employee' to understand and anticipate impacts and manage reactions to change.
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance in the areas of policy interpretation and implementation, staffing and recruitment, compensation and total rewards, employee relations, affirmative action/EEO, organizational structure, workforce development, performance management and training to achieve the best possible business solution.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of HR related experience
- BA/BS in related field
- Proven consultancy skills (discovery, problem-solving, developing, and operationalizing business cases) with a track record of building relationships and working collaboratively at all levels
- Strong analytical skills leveraging trends and metrics to influence, prioritize and evaluate initiatives
- Impeccable judgment and the ability to balance the needs of the company, managers, HR team and employees in a quickly growing and complex organization. Know when to pivot or adapt to changing business trends.
- High level of integrity with the unquestionable ability to maintain confidences
- Strong coaching skills and confidence to provide and receive feedback
- Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn, grow and develop others
- Not afraid or above rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in all aspects of the role
- Experience with government contracting
