As a critical member of our People Team, you’ll join a strategic business function that focuses on putting the employee first by humanizing systems and continuously improving recruitment, engagement, development, and retention. You will:

  • Provide human resources expertise and consultation across all business functions
  • Implement a performance management approach that ties work performance to company goals and helps all employees understand their primary role within the wider organization
  • Guide and coach people managers on how to appropriately manage and resolve complex HR issues (e.g., performance management and total rewards).
  • Coordinate and deliver L&D programs that develop, enhance and grow our employees’ leadership skills and DebtBook product knowledge
  • Create new ways to drive employee engagement and continually improve the employee journey lifecycle
  • Drive adoption of best practices for rewarding and recognizing employees
  • Continue to foster an inclusive culture of belonging through open communication and Learning & Development opportunities for employees
  • Champion DebtBook's values by building them into structured programs and exemplifying them day-to-day
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of HR business partner experience  
  • Experience supporting 2 or more of the following business groups: Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, IT / Support.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems to maintain up-to-date training calendar, training records, and program evaluations a plus
  • Experience supporting VP - C-suite or startup experience a plus
  • Effective communicator using different mediums with a clear, concise voice
  • Ability to flex and transition quickly from big picture strategic thinking to tactical execution
  • Willingness to collaborate with other team members to achieve shared objectives
