Job Description
The Senior HR Generalist with be a key member of the HR team and support a high-performing organization and team at 24-m. The Senior HR Generalist will perform various HR duties in areas such as onboarding, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations and other special projects. This role will also provide guidance on HR operational issues, employment law, and help develop new programs and initiatives to meet business needs. Partner with HR Manager to facilitate and deliver HR services and be a main point of contact for employee questions and support. This role will report into the HR Manager and be required to work onsite in our Cambridge office.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working in HR Generalist role with a broad scope of responsibilities spanning across multiple HR process areas, including but not limited to, compensation, data management, employee relations, benefits, learning and development.
- People-oriented mindset with ability to work in professional, fast-paced environment.
- High-level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner and work with senior leaders of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple different projects at the same time.
- General understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws and requirements.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources.
- HR certification preferred.
- Experience managing HRIS systems.
Additional Information
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform new hire onboarding, in person and virtually.
- Support global hiring efforts and maintain knowledge of international requirements working with outside legal.
- Manage company HRIS and work with finance team to ensure all necessary personnel changes and updates are recorded properly. Also assist with implementation of new HRIS.
- Administer benefit enrollments and changes when necessary.
- Work directly with employees to answer HR related questions and provide additional resources when necessary.
- Partner with HR Manager to implement new programs and initiatives to help enhance current HR functions.
- Share responsibility in coordinating the open enrollment process and all employee communications.
- Spearhead training program coordination, helping to create new training programs for departments and leaders.
- Assist HR Manager with all employee relation matters, conflict resolution and investigations.
- Mentor and help train junior level HR staff.
- Support compliance reporting and policy creation staying up to date on all local/state/federal laws and regulations.
- Maintain record keeping both electronically and onsite.
- Additional ad hoc projects as needed.
