Senior HR Manager:Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, ON’s Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager will play a critical role in supporting our efforts to hire best-in-class talent and craft and implement new and impactful talent and people operations initiatives.Â
How you’ll contribute to our impact:Recruitment: Lead recruitment and selection processes to secure high-quality and diverse talent for ON roles. Identify, create and maintain strategic partnerships with key organizations and external partners to establish and expand talent pipelines. Develop hiring resources that mitigate bias in recruitment & selection processes and guide hiring decisions.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI): Identify and implement programs that foster an open, reflective and inclusive culture of belonging. Support and shepherd the executive team (ET), DEI Council, and staff in the execution of target goals and outcomes toward becoming an anti-racist organization.
Talent Management & Development:Â Support the build and implementation of training, learning & development initiatives to enhance manager and staff knowledge, skills, and abilities to support our evolving organizational needs including manager development, coaching, onboarding, succession planning, and career progression.Â
Event Management: Co-manage the design planning and execution of staff events and meetings in partnership with internal and external stakeholders and vendors (e.g. Camp ON, “All Hands”, etc).
Values & Culture:Â Partner with the Director in the design and execution of initiatives to define and refine organizational culture and development.Â
Provide ad-hoc project support to the broader People Operations team as applicable.Â
What You’ll Bring to the Team:- A minimum of 7 years human resources management experience in a complex fast-paced role; previous supervisory experience preferred
- The right combination of collaboration and independence; a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys crafting and implementing new insights while deeply listening to others
- A demonstrable track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of initiatives concurrently
- Strong project management skills with a high detail-orientation
- Ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and make balanced, objective recommendations in a proactive manner
- Relationship builder with flexibility and finesse that builds and maintains collaborative relationships for the long term
- High energy, maturity, and leadership that serves as a unifying force to position people & culture discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels
- Exceptional writing and public speaking skills with the ability to tailor communications for the target audience; demonstrates an ability to influence collaborators in the interest of meeting organizational goals and values
