Senior Human Systems Analyst

Applied Research Associates, Inc. is seeking aSenior Human Systems Analyst to provide technical, analytical, and programmatic support to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research & Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) in the investment and monitoring of R&D funds. This position is onsite at a Government location(s) in the National Capital Region (and telecommuting where approved). The candidate demonstrates mature judgementrequired to interface with seniorGovernment personnel and external stakeholders including other Government agencies, academia, and industry.The candidate also coordinates administrative functions and process improvement.

This position requires a candidate withexperience leading and performinga variety of tasks to support Government leaders, providing:

• Science, engineering, technical, management, and professional support
• OUSD(R&E) research, analysis, and strategic planning support for OUSD(R&E) human systems programs
• Specialized functional expertise support, g., climate, environmental toxicological sciences, human protection, human systems interfaces, and biological sciences
• Developing graphical materials and documents, to include read aheads, briefings, action memoranda, emails, etc.
• Performing records management
• Recommending resolution to problem sets/challenges

Required Qualifications:

• BS degree in a relevant technical discipline
• 7-9 years of related experience
• Secret security clearance
• Experience supporting US Government clients
• Experience coordinating across multiple organizations
• Background in OUSD(R&E) Human Systems Directorate programs

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous SETA experience
• MS or MA degree in a relevant discipline
• Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance (or DCID 6/4 eligibility within the last five (5) years)

This position is contingent upon award of a contract expected in November 2022-February 2023 supporting a US Government customer.
