ABOUT THIS ROLE
This is an incredible opportunity for a progressive, cloud and automation-first focused technologist to join a team charged with improving and maintaining Apex's suite of Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools. As a Senior IAM Toolchain Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the toolchain and infrastructure that supports our internal access controls, systems, and processes. What you'll do all day:
- Take ownership of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) toolchain - Your primary objective will be the technical oversight and administration of the tools and infrastructure that run the complete lifecycle of employee access, account provisioning and entitlements and deprovisioning. From building scripts and interfaces to manage these processes in Adaxes, to managing Active Directory and Okta integrations, and more. You'll work directly with various teams across the org to support, maintain, design and build solutions to support the strategy and growth of the firm.

Our Identity and Access Management tools should be a tight ecosystem that is always working in harmony to enable our staff to be as productive and efficient as possible - your role will be crucial in making that happen.

The skills you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of proven experience with a similar role, with a focus on Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Demonstrated industry experience in the development, customization, configuration, and deployment of Identity Management and Governance products (e.g. Saviynt or SailPoint)
- Extensive knowledge and experience with identity and access management technology, such as Single Sign-on (SSO), Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), privileged access management.
- Knowledge of security/authorization models and protocols of popular enterprise and SaaS applications (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) is essential.
- Proven experience implementing, managing, and administering Softerra Adaxes
- Strong Python and Powershell skills, with the ability to independently implement and maintain scripts, jobs, and automations.
- Windows and Linux Administration experience in an enterprise environment
- Experience administering and integrating with enterprise tools such as Workday, Okta, Active Directory, Google Workspace, M365.
- Superior troubleshooting and critical thinking skills; ability to localize failures within large distributed systems.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Chat-GPT and how they can be leveraged to improve productivity
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to write clear and concise documentation, procedures, and runbooks.
- Ability to comfortably discuss technical concepts with engineers on your team, or with vendors
