About the Team

Workday's Infrastructure Team is a diverse group of software developers, site reliability engineers (SREs), and operations engineers who work together to ensure our private and public cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and highly available.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity Engineer with extensive experience with Okta to join our team! The Senior Identity Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Okta Federated identity solutions for our organization. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of the Okta platform and its associated services, as well as extensive experience with SSO, MFA, and other identity security technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Implement Okta Federated identity solutions to meet the needs of our organization.
• Configure and lead SSO, MFA, and other security technologies within the IAM platform, such as Okta Workflows.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet those requirements.
• Develop and maintain user documentation and diagrams related to IAM services.
• Solve and resolve issues related to identity solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and standard processes (SSO, MFA, and other identity security technologies.)

About You

Basic qualifications:

• 5+ yrs experience with other identity management platforms such as Ping Identity, Azure AD, or public cloud providers IAM (AWS, GCP, etc)
• 5+ yrs experience with IAM tools (Okta or SailPoint)
• 5+ yrs experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Go, or Bash.

Other qualifications:

• 5+ yrs experience in designing, deployment, and maintaining solutions.
• 5+ yrs experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, etc) and practices.
• Okta Certified Professional certification is a plus
• Strong understanding of identity management principles and standard methodologies.
• Experience working in a collaborative, multi-functional organization.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior members of the team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus
