Senior Immigration Paralegal – Employment Based Visas

As an affiliate to Envoy Global, Inc., weβre pleased to present an opportunity for a Senior Immigration Paralegal to join our GIA team on a permanent, full time basis β working 100% from home, from within the United States.
This role is aimed at a team player, who is seeking a genuine work-life balance. One who is suitably experienced working as Senior Immigration Paralegal, with several years of experience working across employment-based visas, within a medium-to-high volume case processing environment.
As a Senior Immigration Paralegal, you will be required to:
- Apply proficiency with preparing end-to-end PERM and some NIV case types (H1B, Ls)
- Possess expertise in specialized case type(s) that are required by the team and client needs
- Learn and become competent on Consular processing for nonimmigrant (DS-160) and immigrant (DS260) case types
- Conduct document intake to review documents for validity and sufficiency
- Analyze immigration status based on documents
- Draft case forms and templated letters of support
- Issue spot potential problems and alert attorney of any potential issues
- Compile petitions and applications for attorney review, in a timely manner
- Draft responses to simple requests for evidence
- Coordinate with legal assistants on printing of case and service requests
- Respond to basic and complex client communications
- Organize emails, templates, client protocols, team protocols, and procedural updates
- Demonstrate competency in queue management and case prioritization
- Draft complex QA responses for attorney reviewΒ
- Be open and quick to learn other nonimmigrant case types per client and law firm needs (to fill in any gaps in your NIV knowledge)
- Train new paralegals on fundamental case types as needed
- Sit in on and assist with calls with client and/or employee for simple matters related to existing open cases, as determined by attorney
To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:Β
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Immigration paralegal working on employment-based visas within a law firm environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent English grammar and spelling
- Strong attention to detail, with outstanding organizational skills
- Strong client focus and willingness to assist
- Proficiency with MS Word and MS Outlook

SALARY
Approximately $65,000 + eligible for bonus
