Job Overview
As a Senior Implementation Specialist, you will work on a variety of customer softwareimplementation projects, alongside a Project Manager and Integrations Consultant, to analyze and manipulate customer data for import purposes, configure the product(s) to meet the customer's requirements, support and assist the customer throughout the testing phase, and provide training to Administrators and End Users. In addition, this role may be expected to manage 3 to 5 Implementation Specialists.

Job Overview

Job Responsibilities
- Compile data from each customer's accounting system andrestructure into a specific data import format using Excel.
- Analyze customer data to eliminate potential product errorsor exceptions.
- Lead product configuration and testing phases to ensure theproduct is setup to meet the customer's requirements and is working asdesigned.
- Develop and facilitate web and/or face-to-face producttraining to ensure the customer Administrators and End Users understand how to useand administer the software when they are Live.
- Assist Project Manager during Adoption phase to troubleshootissues, optimize the product configuration, and answer how-to questions.
- Lead lower complexity Service projects, without theassistance of a Project Manager
- Mentor and possibly manage 3 to 5 direct reports.
- Lead team and department wide initiatives to create processand role improvements.
- Lead team and department based new hire and continuededucation training sessions.
- Maintain project momentum when the Project Manager isunavailable.
- Bachelor's degree, or 5 years of professional workexperience.
- A minimum of 3 years of customer facing softwareimplementation experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of training experience with businesssoftware or technology.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and ability topromote positive and productive working relationships amongst peers andcustomers. Easily able to gain alignment and synergy in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to describe aspects of a project or process in amanner which is easily understood by all staff levels of an organization.
- Applies strong knowledge of business principles todecisions.
- Demonstrates a structured, rational approach when resolvingproblems in a timely manner. Considers alternative solutions and facilitatesthe problem-solving process well in group situations.
- Prioritizes tasks and activities based on organizationalgoals and self-directs work, without overreliance on peer or manager direction.
- Demonstrates ability to absorb new information quickly andperform responsibilities effectively and efficiently on multiple projects atone time in a fast-paced environment.
- Manages project timelines and resources efficiently whilerecognizing inherent tradeoffs that must be made given events outside one'scontrol.
- Ability to quickly master innovative technologies with astrong technical aptitude.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge ofdatabase relationships and terminology.
Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- Familiarity with SmartSheet or similar project planning software.
- Familiarity with Project Management methodologies and software tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Familiarity with SharePoint or similar document storage/collaboration software.
- Experience working with accounting/ERP systems.
- Experience working in the Accounting industry.
