Senior Information Developer

C3 AI has an opening for an Information Developer located onsite at our office in Redwood City, California. As an Information Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to create release notes, documentation, training content, and quick starts. Your content helps users confidently use our software to solve real world problems.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, develop, write, edit, and publish content, including user guides, developer guides, implementation guides, online help, release notes, UI text, and onboarding and training materials.
• Drive the total content experience across all deliverables, ensuring that content supports user journeys, use cases, and scenarios.
• Test all content in a pre-release version of the application.
• As necessary, contribute to blog posts, community articles, and tutorials that contribute to customer success.
• Evaluate the user interface; propose changes and additions to user-facing text.
• Advocate for users and recommend improvements to processes, tools, and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical writing role for software products.
• Experience leading content initiatives that improve the customer experience or solve business/operational problems.
• Familiar with Docs as Code documentation model (we use Markdown, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Comfortable in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to read code and write code examples strongly preferred.
• Familiar with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, AI, ML, and NLP concepts preferred.
