Job Description:
The Senior Information Risk & Assurance Analyst is responsible for supporting audit, risk analysis, and compliance activities as part of the Information Security Team. An ideal Senior Information Risk & Assurance Analyst candidate is someone who has background knowledge in Audit, and/or security risk assessments with a passion for problem-solving and a desire to further their career in IT risk management and audit.
We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to one of our following offices: Atlanta, GA.
The Job/What You'll Do:
- Assist with validation of technology risk assessments, process and technology control designs, control gap identification, control evidence, and identification of compensating controls.
- Conduct audit planning, including creation of audit programs to assess the adequacy of internal controls to reasonably ensure effective and efficient operations and compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Participate in the technology control remediation process including tracking the resolution of findings from internal and/or external audit sources.
- Recommend improvements to IT processes to strengthen controls and better manage risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to gather evidence in support of internal and external assessments and audits.
- Perform and analyze results of 3rd party assessments against contracts and policies.
- Coordinate with internal and external audit teams, as needed, to fulfill regulatory requirements and obligations.
- Perform special projects as assigned, while effectively managing time with competing priorities.
- Provide support to the business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response programs.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in IT audit, IT compliance, and/or GRC
- BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., SEC, SOX, SOC 1/2)
- Strong Microsoft Suite skills specifically Excel, Power Point, and Teams
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Multi-tasking and time management skills
- Strong team working skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supporting certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CIA)
- Experience participating in business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response programs.
- Experience with GRC and audit solutions
- Experience working in JIRA Project Management
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $107,000-$115,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
