Senior Information System Specialist (Supply Chain)

As a Sr. Information Specialist, supporting our manufacturing site, you will be trusted with managing or performing work across multiple areas of an organization's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration at our Fort Worth ASPEX Facility in Fort Worth, TX.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Managing information systems such as stocktaking, record-keeping, filing systems, and information distribution.
• Identifying data sources and collecting information through surveying and research.
• Implementing data storage methods and assisting with the digitization of files.
• Ensuring information systems are streamlined and working accurately following Alcon's best data practices.
• Managing the relationships with the warehouse and distribution end users to drive business requirements for streamlined solutions.
• Responsible for driving innovation initiatives throughout our Surgical Distribution warehouses.
• Crafting and disseminating updates to staff, management, and shareholders.
• Writing and presenting annual data summary reports for management review.
• Solid understanding of data processes and information systems.
• Familiarity with programming languages, such as SQL.
• Excellent research skills to interpret analytical data to assess and improve information systems.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Office tools.
• Balancing multiple projects under minimal direction with excellent attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs.; Assoc.+9 yrs.; M.S.+2 yrs.; PhD+0 yrs.)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience
• Work hours: 1st Shift: (Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM CST - 5:00 PM CST)
