Senior Information Technology Project Manager
Job Description
This is a full-time remote position. Candidates must reside in the greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.
Qualified candidate must have or can attain a Public Trust Level 6(c) clearance and have ability to commute to client-site meetings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages one or more Information Technology (IT) programs/projects under a BPA.
- Monitor and evaluate software solutions, development of the solutions, and integration of the solutions.
- Coordinate and lead cross-team activities, including external clients and internal support.
- Serves as liaison to the government clients for all areas associated with the project/program.
- Ensures the execution of the Program’s Quality Management and Assurance Program for all products and services.
- Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
- Provides strong, proactive, and assertive leadership while maintaining aggressive efforts to achieve objectives.
- Responsible for all phases of the project/program development lifecycle, including budget, risk, and resource management.
- Prepares staffing Plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations.
- Assigns staff and provides technical direction as necessary to complete tasks.
- Creates and delivers high-quality, informative, written/verbal project communications.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- PMP Certification
- Prior experience managing multi-task contracts and/or subcontracts of various types and complexity in a federal government environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships.
- Demonstrated experience with project software development from inception to deployment.
- Demonstrated technical management and development leadership experience.
- Proven skill in managing projects for various project management methodologies.
- Experience in cost and risk management.
- Attention to detail and excellent communication.
