Job Description

As an IT Specialist, Senior at Nasuni you will work closely with the rest of the IT staff on tickets, projects and any issues that may arise where IT is needed. You will play a key role in shaping how we standardize internal processes, onboarding, offboarding, etc. This position will require you to be in-office at least four days per week. 

The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate working knowledge of Jamf Pro Mobile Device Management and macOS, including administration and configuration.
• Handle problem resolution and systems troubleshooting on the phone, via email, chat, in-person, or through remote access.
• Ensure internal troubleshooting documentation is accurate and updated.
• Provide support for A/V in meetings / conference rooms / etc.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products.
• Prioritize ticket queues.
• Project-related work alongside handling day-to-day issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment available, assist with procurement of approved equipment from established vendors.
• Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.

Formal Education & Certification

• An Associate’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Knowledge & Experience

• A high degree of technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• A strong working knowledge of computer system fundamentals, hardware, and software, especially Apple macOS, and Jamf Pro.
• Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
• Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
• Experience supporting and configuring a wide range of SaaS applications.
• Experience or familiarity with Identity Management and User Lifecycle systems such as Okta or Azure Active Directory.

Work Conditions

• Sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods of time.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components.
• Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
• Moderate travel is required for the purpose of on-site hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.

Work Environment

Works in an open-concept office environment up to 75% of the time with low but varying noise levels.
