Senior InfraOps Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

End User Device Management (EUDM) Senior Engineer provides day to day operations and support for desktop computer, mobile device, and associated peripherals. This position is responsible for ensuring hardware and software is properly setup, configured, and managed in each facility leveraging approved Microsoft deployment tools for configuration management and asset control. This position is responsible to drive forward the Cloud Integration from CM to Intune. The EUDM Senior Engineer will be responsible for providing design, deploying, configuring and support of desktop technologies in a distributed environment. The EUDM Senior Engineer will be responsible for software distribution and patch management as well as building and deploying software packages to workstations The Senior Engineer serves as an escalation point for global device issues and CM Infrastructure issues that cannot be resolved by intermediate team members or those requiring escalated access.

This position will be required to work on Adient projects as needed. This position will be tasked to help triage, prioritize, and delegate ticket assignments based on knowledge of the environment and business needs. Senior Engineer will be required to proactively address problems found through monitoring, document new solutions, and create reports.

Senior Engineer will be expected to build and foster relationships with business units to further the end user experience. Requires previous experience working in an end user computing environment. This position is designed to work as directed by the manager of EUDM. EUDM Senior Engineer is expected to maintain or exceed service metrics set by the EUDM leadership.
