What is your Impact:

The Senior IT Infrastructure Architect develops actionable blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards and guidelines for assigned projects/initiatives to ensure information technology architecture is consistent, usable, secure and adds value to the business. The position facilitates design and implementation of flexible, scalable and cost effective solutions and provides technical guidance to less experienced Architects.

What are the Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for adhering to corporate architecture standards, ensuring technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization and contributing to corporate architecture strategy-setting
  • Leads governance processes of new technologies and solutions to ensure consistent technology life cycle management.
  • Participates in formulating solution estimates and work planning including determining appropriate task sequencing and identification of technical skill sets required. (5%)
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with IT and business area partners and provides consultation to the BRM and business teams. Builds consensus around principles of infrastructure architecture and interprets and clarifies these principles
  • Subject matter expert to business areas, project teams and vendors to apply and execute appropriate use of technology solutions and lead efforts to examine technology vision, opportunities and challenges.
  • Participates in the evaluation, selection and implementation of technology solutions including providing detailed analysis of pros and cons and build vs buy options. (5%)
  • Maintains operational, architectural and design documentation including procedures, task lists, and architecture blue prints. Evaluates strengths and flaws in infrastructure architecture including performance, quality, availability, simplicity of design, security and total cost of ownership.
  • Continually works to enhance breadth and depth of knowledge and experience. Benchmarks technology strategies and architectures. Monitors and anticipates trends and investigates organizational objectives and needs. Prepares benchmarking reports and presentations.
What is Required:

  • 5+ years' work experience as an Architect working on progressively complex IT infrastructure projects
  • Hands on experience in a minimum of one of the following: Vulnerability management, compliance management, access/identity management
  • Experience with Architecting IAM Solutions in the Cloud for SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, such as Azure
  • Experienced and solution driven for identity and identity management, access management, privileged access management, identity governance, identity certification activities
  • Hands on experience with designing, installing, implementing, architecting and configuring one or more Identity & Access Management products such as MIM. Broadcom/CA IDM, SailPoint, ForgeRock, CyberArk or other IAM technology.
  • Hands on implementation experience, as well as deep technical knowledge of IAM, vulnerability and compliance tools (ex. Nessus/Tenable, QUALYS, Rapid7)
  • Highly adept at decision-making, consulting, negotiating, communicating, consensus building, presentation and facilitation as well as innovating and thinking beyond established standards and processes
  • Mastery of a variety of hardware and/or software platforms including mainframes, distributed platforms, desktops, and mobile devices .Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated experience applying current and emerging technology solutions and trends including security and regulatory industry requirement
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through project or technical leadership experience and demonstrated success in communicating highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.
  • Strong understanding of Public and Private Cloud offerings and ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting solutions in an extremely regulated environment
  • Experience designing Highly Available Infrastructure Solutions for large enterprises.
  • Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cloud security implementations
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-53 security standards
  • Health care industry related experience
  • 2 or more years infrastructure architecture experience.
  • Experience using Agile methodology.
General Physical Demands

Annualized Salary Range: $121,300 - $197,100

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $121,300 - $151,600

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
