About the role and what you'll be doing:

As the Senior Infrastructure Architect, you will bring a passion for automation and simplifying processes for your internal customers.  You will take complex concepts, complex technology and enable people who don't have the same depth of knowledge to be able to use it and understand it.  You will be a teacher of sorts who comes to the table with a unique combination of a solid understanding of infrastructure, networking and virtualization and automation.

You will be an integral part of the Hybrid Cloud product organization bringing significant advances to the Ensono product & technology portfolio making it easier for our operations teams to deliver to our customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Primary focus on VMware Virtualization & NSX Software Defined Networking and security products
• Provide technical advice and governance for the Ensono operational teams.
• Develop and document reference architectural standards.
• Deliver standard service documentation to facilitate operational service introduction.
• Develop automation for deployment, ongoing management, and operational service delivery.
• Drive continual efficiency improvements via process and automation improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience with VMware NSX-T network virtualization including security policy deployment and automation.
• Experience with VMware vSphere deployment, management, and automation
• Experience with VMware Cloud Director including automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure Automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with scripting languages such a Python or PowerShell
• Strong experience with automation using device API’s. 
• Experience of Cisco networking 
• Experience with VMware AVI, F5, A10 or other Load Balancing Technologies
• Knowledge on Switching and Routing Protocols such as Spanning Tree Protocols, OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, etc.
• Experience of firewall policy management
• Exposure with integrating infrastructure elements to third party systems such as BMC, SolarWinds, Infoblox IPAM etc.
• Understanding of Agile Working Methodology & Environment
