Position Overview:

Are you an IT professional with a passion for driving technical excellence, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales growth? At Crossvale we are on the lookout for a versatile Senior Infrastructure Consultant to lead the way in technical expertise and client success.  

Responsibilities: 

• Participates in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies as it is related to infrastructure design, deployment, and maintenance. 
• Provide directions to a client in the areas of cloud infrastructure, containers, networking, security, virtualization, automation, storage, etc. 
• Help organizations transform from a legacy mindset to a modern operation focusing on automation, containerization, orchestration, and DevOps. 
• Ensure that the solutions being deployed are resilient, supportable and well documented. 
• Collaborate with personnel across multiple departments and technologies on cross-team projects. 
• Ensures that design and infrastructure is “cloud-ready” leveraging the latest design patterns and deployment techniques. 
• Sets expectations and priorities throughout the infrastructure life cycle.  
• Works as a member of an agile team. 

Qualifications: 

• 8+ years’ experience in an "Infrastructure" related role 
• Expertise in configuration/deployment automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt stack, or terraform) 
• Knowledge of any Infrastructure management tool (Cloud forms, Cloud Foundry, VCloud, etc.) 
• Current on IaaS and PaaS patterns in the industry. 
• Knowledge of source control (Git preferred). 
• Knowledge of the Red Hat product portfolio (RHEL, Satellite, Ansible, OpenStack, KVM, OpenShift, Gluster, etc.). 
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) 
• Solid understanding of RHEL 7, networking protocols. 
• Storage solutions experience (Ceph.io)

• 10+ years of experience with Architecture design, development, deployment, and support of unique technology solutions.
• Demonstrate 10+ years of experience in infrastructure automation.
• Exhibit deep financial and/or banking industry knowledge for effective solution design and issue resolution.
• Show Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure and Governance.
• Strong technical expertise in Containerization, Orchestration, OpenShift, and/or Kubernetes technologies and scalability.
• Experience with AWS or GCP is a plus. 
• Demonstrated 5+ years of experience showcasing customer-facing experience with a history of client satisfaction and retention.
• Display a drive and commitment to achieving results.
