We are building the best in class CLOB Perp DEX on Monad.

Make history developing the world's first truly decentralized fully on-chain perpetuals exchange, built around a high-performance Central Limit Order Book! Others have tried or claim to have done this, but they implemented on application chains or use techniques that skirt the bounds of decentralization theater.

We're building on Monad, a performant block chain designed from the outset for high-performance decentralized finance applications. Our team has a legacy of interesting Dapp and DeFi firsts; highlights include:

• World's first decentralized mobile messenger, featuring group chats and Publishing Dapp integrations
• Anonymized push notification system allowing protocols to communicate with address holders anonymously
• Deployed an ultra gas-efficient Time-Weighted Automated Market Maker protocol on Ethereum L1

Senior Infrastructure EngineerSummary

We build gas efficient fully decentralized exchange (DEX). We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys creating, managing and maintaining the infrastructure used by systems to connect users to our DEX and transmit external data to our DEX.

You will be an important member of our company, making history contributing to the development of the first fully decentralized perpetuals exchange built around a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB), entirely on an EVM chain!

You will report to the Principal Backend Engineer and work to develop and maintain the systems connecting web and mobile clients to blockchain data and systems.

Although this project centers around a blockchain system, previous experience with blockchain is not a hard requirement.

Responsibilities

• Create code that instantiates production and test infrastructure components
• Monitor the performance of infrastructure components, addressing failures or scalability needs
• Setup and maintain CI/CD
• Work cross functionally with other engineering teams to ensure infrastructure is available for our applications services, both front and backend.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience.
• Experience configuring, deploying and monitoring secure production backend systems at scale on cloud infrastructure, comprised of the following components:
• Data Pipeline Tools
• Relational, In-Memory, and Time-series Databases
• Notification Systems
• Virtualized Components and Systems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure best practices around automation, identity management, and security, having created and and maintained infrastructure for production grade systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional efforts to launch products.
• Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills.

Bonus Points

• Past experience working in high-paced startup environments
• Knowledge of EVM, DEXs, Perpetuals, and other novel DeFi primitives
• Proficiency in AWS, GCP, etc
