Senior Infrastructure Engineer with Network Engineering Expertise

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design build scale and maintain our cutting-edge build infrastructure enabling users to expedite their app development process. Salary range for this position is between gross 1625000 HUF and 2700000 HUF.

Our Build Infrastructure team manages the Bitrise CI/CD cloud build infrastructure providing stable and reliable build environments. We oversee one of the world's largest Mac infrastructures complemented by an extensive Linux Cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability maintainability and high performance. We adhere to DevOps and Agile methodologies and are committed to automation.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Bitrise you will:

• Maintain improve and scale the existing infrastructure remotely (data center as well as Cloud services)  to meet the ever-increasing demand

• Manage Mac-based and Linux-based build infrastructures as well as network infrastructure

• Streamline workflows through automation

• Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent customer impact

• Manage incidents and conduct post-mortems

• Develop systematic procedures for troubleshooting and maintenance

• Refine deployment practices to enhance quality and velocity

• Collaborate with various teams within Bitrise

• Plan and execute your work in an iterative agile manner

• Document tribal knowledge

• Promote knowledge sharing across the engineering department

• Demonstrate a strong ability to learn technologies efficiently and independently including through reading and understanding source code

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• You have at least 5 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar engineering role e.g. Network Engineer

• You have in-depth understanding of L2-L7 networking in-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP BGP) and services (e.g. DNS VPN) and experience configuring firewalls IPSec tunnels routing cloud networking DHCP etc.

• You are skilled in Linux administration including scripting (Bash Python)

• You are experienced in defining and deploying infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible

• You are proficient in setting up and leveraging Continuous Integration systems for process automation

• You are familiar with Google Cloud or other cloud service platforms

• You are competent in configuring and utilizing system monitoring tools

• You are proficient in managing source code with Git

• You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an international agile-focused team environment.
