Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Develop assessments of technology areas to inform future innovation activities and provide clarity on gaps that need to be filled by future efforts.

  • Work with other stakeholders to ensure alignment between the goals of Chevron and what is available in the market today to staying aligned with the strategy.

  • Provide visibility of projects and efforts by maintaining ADO boards and present at meetings on progress of innovation activities.

  • Work in an agile environment, partner with platforms in DevOps, and ensure Cybersecurity of solutions during development.

  • Align, collaborate, and build relationships with peers, company leadership, subject matter experts, and users to improve knowledge of end-to-end DevOps best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • +15 Years of related work experience

  • Experience as an IT professional with Computer/Electrical Engineering degree or related fields.

  • Hands-on working experience in PCN, SCADA, Instrumentation, Sensors, Communications, and other OT systems is desired.

  • Energy Industry or related experience as understanding of Oil & Gas business is expected.

  • Knowledge of Hardware: Edge Gateways, Raspberry Pi, Sensors, I2C and other electronic standards.

  • Experienced with Azure platform: Azure IoT Hub, Azure IoT Edge, and other Azure PaaS services and Microsoft stack

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of programming is desired with experience in one of these languages:  C#, .NET, Python, or Java.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance to achieve defined technical/business objectives.

  • Proven technical collaboration skills, e.g., the ability to collaborate with other SMEs to address design, operational, and security initiatives across functional boundaries such as organizations and business functions…

  • Strong verbal and writing communications skills required to communicate findings of efforts in a clear and concise manner.

  • Teamwork - consider the views and concerns of others, achieve objectives through teamwork, and deliver consistently on commitments.
