About The Team: 

The Inside Sales department drives user adoption of our products. They are responsible for taking the 30 day trials initiated by marketing efforts and converting those to users. These employees are knowledgeable about our products and customer service oriented.   

About The Role:

As a Senior Inside Sales Rep, you’ll help drive user adoption of SaaS services for our largest trial and inbound customers. They are responsible for clear communication to prospective ShipStation High Volume level users, and will assist merchants throughout the trial process - showing ShipStation value and helping turn trial users into long term ShipStation customers. A Senior ISR will also lead the organization by example through performance and mentorship.

Primary Objectives: 

  1. Achieve sales goals to increase ShipStation users, usage, shipment volume and revenue.
  2. Proactively engage with prospective ShipStation High Volume users to identify value for their business and seamless migration to the ShipStation platform. 
  3. Prepare and execute a sales strategy to ensure conversions, adoption, and exceed sales targets. 
  4. Be an Auctane Sales Champion

What We Are Looking For:  

  1. Achieve sales goals to increase ShipStation users, usage, shipment volume and revenue.
    • Engage with outbound and inbound prospects promoting ShipStation's benefits, technology and services. 
    • Adhere to cadences and metrics, to attain performance success
  2. Proactively engage with prospective ShipStation users to identify value for their business and seamless migration to the ShipStation platform. 
    • Provide rapid response to client pre-sales inquiries and requests
    • Provide rapid responses, and ongoing communication, to external partners and partner referrals 
    • Focus on higher value merchants - High Volume level customers
  3. Prepare and execute a sales strategy to ensure conversions, adoption, and exceed sales targets. 
    • Use the internal based "Socratic Value Selling" sales methodology.
    • Qualify leads based on the Auctane sales process. Identify customer needs and tailor Auctane value to those needs.
    • Work across internal departments to determine the most ideal implementation and ensure a great customer experience
  4. Be an Auctane Sales Champion
    • Provide feedback during group calls and discussion
    • Display an exceptional level of Auctane skills and wills
    • Be a peer advocate for the “Socratic Value Selling” method, as well as any other sales coaching initiatives 
    • In-office attendance required multiple days a week to promote learning, collaboration and career pathing 

The Tech:      

  • Intermediate Salesforce Experience 
  • Intermediate Gsuite Experience 

Additional Position Duties: 

  • Sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Utilize wrist and hands for a prolonged period of time
  • Walk short distances
  • Stand for short periods
  • Speaking and conversing with others
  • Lift up to 25lbs without assistance up to chest height

Required Education and/or Experience:        

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience to match
  • One or more (1+) years Saas software or equivalent sales experience

Preferred Education and/or Experience:                 

  • 2 year of E-commerce experience 
  • 2 year of SaaS experience 
  • Proficiency with Salesforce

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Understanding of e-commerce, shipping and/or B2MB SasS products
  • Superb communication skills
  • Ability to learn complex procedures and be able to troubleshoot potential issues for the customer
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to self-manage your time and responsibilities
  • Ability to think critically and identify a problem's most fundamental elements

Travel Requirements (if applicable):                   

  • Less than 10% travel per year
