We’re looking for a Senior Instructional Designer with 3-5 years of corporate L&D experience to design effective learning solutions, develop engaging learning experiences in an interactive and collaborative way, and deploy those solutions across the business.Ā This role is an integral part of the QGenda Learning & Culture Team based in our Atlanta, GA office and helping to define and shape the future of learning for the entire organization.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with business leaders, T&D Specialists, content SMEs, and conduct independent research to gather, write, develop, and validate training content on leadership, sales, customer experience, product, onboarding, etc.
  • Use advanced instructional design modalities and expertise to conduct needs analysis, identify actionable learning objectives, manage stakeholders, create organized content outlines, and present solutions that solve performance gaps.
  • Use rapid development to deploy short term learning solutions while developing larger strategic learning solutions, managing multiple developments simultaneously.
  • Use superior project planning to manage incoming design requests and in-progress developments, allocating development time appropriately, and communicating updates and deliverables to stakeholders.Ā 
  • Effectively use technology and modern designs to develop interactive blended learning solutions including eLearning, ILTs, micro learning, workshops, simulations, role-plays, and mobile learning utilizing videos, graphics, gamification, voice over, gifs, images, etc.
  • Manage an LMS (Docebo) and other learning sites (LinkedIn Learning) with focus on the learner experience and support, organize course libraries, partner with T&D Specialists for content updates, update employee data from HRIS, and ensure accuracy in reporting.Ā 
  • Conduct course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training and incorporate measurement and assessment results into future projectsĀ 
  • Champion enhancements/improvements/innovations to design processes and lead in the implementation efforts of these improvementsĀ 

What Experience You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s DegreeĀ 
  • Instructional design certifications are a plusĀ 
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in a corporate instructional design role
  • 3-5 years designing and developing modern, interactive, and blended learning solutionsĀ 
  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT: (Proficiency: Advanced) Demonstrated experience managing multiple training developments simultaneously (videos, eLearnings, training outlines, storyboards scripts, live sessions, etc.) while also managing stakeholders, daily/weekly administrative tasks, drop-in requests, and operating with a sense of urgency, organization, and rapid development in a fast past environment.Ā 
  • COMMUNICATION: (Proficiency: Advanced) Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively asking discovery questions to understand the training development ask, collaborate with stakeholders, and set clear expectations around project deliverables.Ā 
  • COURSE DEVELOPMENT (Proficiency: Advanced) Demonstrated experience building a variety of learning courses, paths, programs, and resources from content outline though deployment with experience in a variety of development softwares (Adobe CC prefered)Ā 
  • LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (Proficiency: Intermediate - Advanced) Proven experience managing an LMS uploading courses, managing HRIS data, admins, reporting, creating and maintaining course libraries, gamification and badges are a plus.
  • VIDEO DEVELOPMENT(Proficiency: Advanced) Demonstrated experience developing learning videos, voiceovers, and script writing.Ā 
  • GRAPHIC DESIGN: (Proficiency: Intermediate - Advanced) Demonstrated experience with graphic design including editing images, designing PowerPoints and templates, using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Vimeo, etc.
