Senior Instructional Designer

About the Role:

We are looking for a Sr. Instructional Designer who is relentlessly focused on our customers by delivering high-quality, instructor led training sessions that drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. In this role, you will perform instructional delivery of approved course material with a focus on enabling organizations to maximize the value they get from BigPanda.

What you will do:

• Creating engaging learning activities and compelling technical course content for self-paced and instructor-led training in collaboration with subject matter experts 
• Gaining domain knowledge to identify and clearly communicate highly complex content and present simplified and relevant design proposals, then revising the design as needed based on input from resources and experts. 
• Leveraging agile development techniques and processes to create content for a rapidly changing environment. 
• Provide classroom instruction on the BigPanda platform. This may include both virtual and in-person training formats.
• Experience in selecting appropriate instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstration-performance, problem-based learning, student-centered learning, and guided discussion.

What skills and experience you’ll bring to BigPanda:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in high-tech B2B SaaS products or in a start-up environment where you operated as an Instructional Designer or Technical Trainer or similar role.
• Experience with DevOps, ITOps/AIOps, Event Management, ITSM solutions or other related technologies.
• Strong technical ability which allows you to provide basic troubleshooting software systems, and experience with integrations and other technical configurations.
• Excellent communication, writing and teaching skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $113,100 - $156,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location
