Senior Insurance Account Representative

Overview:

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the Unites States.

This position supports Bank customers by reviewing and analyzing insurance risks at the highest level of service complexity. Determines coverage placements and recommends carriers generating new revenue through upselling and referrals when appropriate. Responsible for administrative functions and oversight to facilitate workflow. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.

• Support & Service - Performs data entry processing and risk analysis to place customer coverage. Services substantial customer accounts including high net worth clients. Identifies opportunities to support sales goals during the course of daily activities. Offers guidance on complex and escalated service issues.
• Team Leadership - Mentors and trains team members. Assists in the communication of performance results and expected behaviors for success.
• Collaboration - Works directly with carriers and customers in completion of daily servicing activities. Liaises with carrier support system to consolidate information and resolve policy issues. Communicates successfully with customers regarding their coverage and accounts.
• Product Expert - Provides insurance expertise in order to meet customer needs. Recommends appropriate carrier and products to place coverage. Ensures accuracy of policies and endorsements requesting corrections from carriers when necessary.

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in Insurance Industry OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in Insurance Industry

License or Certification Type: NC Property & Casualty Insurance License Required

Skill(s): Knowledge of insurance carriers guidelines and products Ability to lead team members

Preferred Qualifications: High Net Worth background

If hired in North Carolina the base pay for this position is generally between $56775 and $75700 per year.  Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills experience location and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.  For some roles total compensation may also include variable incentives bonuses benefits and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
