Senior Integration Engineer

The goal of this function is to develop new methods and interfacing in support of business projects or to enhance the business capabilities of existing interfaces between the IT systems in our landscape. The development is typically based on analysis provided by Functional Consultant and approved by Technical Designer. This function is essential to ensure the evolution of SAP and non SAP integration with other systems with a high level of quality. As we are evolving towards a decentralized environment, application connectivity is a key component in design and a high usage of APIs is expected.

Responsibilities:

1. Good understanding of business processes in SAP related modules, such as SD and MM. Ability to deliver high quality results meeting established standards and expectations for the organization.
2. Work with functional consultants and business analysts to build specified development requirements as well as test and document the work.
3. Design, develop, test, debug interfaces in SAP Process Orchestration.
4. Configuring Queue Management, Alert Management, Performance setup, Integration Directory and SLD (System Landscape Directory)
5. Design, develop, test, debug APIs in our Mulesoft platform.
6. Deliver CI / CD using established platforms (Github, CTS+)
7. Ensure all activities are executed within the agreed planning and budget, and continuously stays focused on delivering high quality solutions.

Skills: 

1. Mulesoft Engineer with 5+ years experience in Mulesoft integration Projects 
2. Good working knowledge of SAP business processes associated with SAP Logistics (Material Management, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Sales & Distribution, and Logistics Execution) and involvement in IS-Retail projects.
3. Knowledge in process integration design (communications and messaging technologies), Enterprise integration patterns.
4. Excellent use of various adaptertechniques (IDOC, JBDC, SOAP, HTTP).
5. Thorough knowledge of SAP ECC integration functionality (proxies, change pointers, RFC FMs, WEDI, ALE, etc )
6. API integration design, Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, Mulesoft RTF.
7. Good knowledge of Dataweave, mule connector modules and API specification languages(RAML or Swagger)
8. Experience in developing REST APIs and consuming 3rd party web services
9. Excellent communication, interpersonal, training and team leading skills and the ability to work effectively within a development team. Capable of providing leadership, mentoring of junior developers and technical support. Ability to deliver high quality results meeting established standards and expectations for the organization.

1. Ability to conduct research and recommend changes in an existing, changing or emerging environment.

1. Experience with the following, will be considered as a plus:

• SAP Cloud Platform Integration
• Source control tools, such as Git
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• RDBMs systems programming
• Kafka 
• Azure (Log analytics, AKS, Gateway, Keyvault, Blob Storage, Event Hub, Service Bus)

Nice to have: 

Preferred knowledge in ABAP and/or JAVA development.
