Senior Integration Specialist

The Role: 

The Senior Integration Specialist will be responsible for providing quality and timely integration support to education institutions. Working in partnership with Technical Solutions Architects, Sales, Customer Success, Product and Account Management teams, you’ll help build scalable strategies to successfully onboard new clients and integrate Newsela’s instructional platform with other education technology solutions. As a key driver for customer success, you’ll do everything from overseeing integration projects, handling client calls, troubleshooting issues as they arise, creating customer facing support documentation, to leading internal strategy sessions to build new workflows that make client onboarding as seamless and efficient as possible. You’ll create and implement improved processes to operationalize work within districts to reduce barriers to integration and support alignment of Newsela work to district needs.

You will have a direct impact on laying the framework for client integration playbooks, which will ultimately scale Newsela’s ability to bring engaging, culturally responsive learning content to K-12 classrooms nationwide.

Why We’ll Love You: 

You have 3+ years of hands-on technical experience with implementing technologies and onboarding clients, ideally at an EdTech or SaaS company. You are able to identify opportunities that positively impact the business, and execute to make them a reality. Thoughtful, clear communication is your specialty; you can translate technical communication across cross-functional teams and complex client organizations to effectively steer clients through implementation and adoption. You also have extensive experience in a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to: databases, SQL,Excel, Looker, Salesforce, Jira, etc. Being an expert and having a deep understanding of School Information Systems (i.e. PowerSchool, Infinite Campus), Learning Management Systems (i.e. Canvas, Schoology, BlackBoard), and SSO Portals (i.e. Clever, Classlink) is a plus. You’re a data-driven decision maker with the ability to structure ambiguity into actionable, value-added plans. Your superior project and time management ability are reflected in a track record of performance and successful implementation across multiple concurrent projects. You have a desire to self-reflect, give and receive feedback, and continuously improve. Your ability to handle multiple, shifting, and competing priorities and drive the team towards results is coupled with exceptional client management skills, including demonstrated skill in vision-setting and coaching. You have experience authentically engaging stakeholders and leveraging feedback for continuous improvement, and you consistently exercise excellent judgment, integrity, and commitment to personal responsibility and accountability.
