This role offers the opportunity to shape the core integration layer of an AI-powered enterprise service management platform that operates directly within Slack and Microsoft Teams. You will design and scale mission-critical integrations that power automated ticketing, intelligent routing, and real-time resolution workflows for enterprise customers. Working at the intersection of product and platform engineering, you will help ensure seamless user experiences across messaging ecosystems while enabling deep connectivity with broader SaaS tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define integration standards and build scalable infrastructure that supports rapid product growth. In this role, you will take ownership of designing, building, and scaling robust integrations across Slack, Microsoft Teams, and related enterprise systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and seamless user experience across all channels.

• Build and maintain production-grade integrations for Slack and Microsoft Teams, including bots, event handling, slash commands, and adaptive cards.
• Design and implement scalable integration architectures that ensure feature parity and consistent UX across messaging platforms.
• Develop and maintain connectors to external systems such as HR platforms, identity providers, and ticketing tools.
• Own workflow orchestration using Temporal to support stateful, long-running, and reliable integration processes.
• Improve and maintain integration infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, monitoring, and observability.
• Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve integration performance.
• Build internal tooling and UI components using Next.js and React to manage and configure integrations efficiently.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled full-stack or platform engineer with deep experience in messaging platform integrations and modern TypeScript-based ecosystems, combined with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

• 3+ years of experience building Slack integrations using tools such as Bolt SDK, Events API, Block Kit, or Socket Mode.
• 3+ years of experience developing Microsoft Teams integrations using Bot Framework, Graph API, Adaptive Cards, or Teams Toolkit.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Next.js in production environments.
• Strong understanding of scalable system design, integration patterns, and distributed workflows.
• Experience working with monorepos (e.g., TurboRepo) and modern frontend tooling (TailwindCSS, component libraries).
• Ability to debug complex distributed systems and implement reliable, observable solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and customer teams.
