Senior Intelligence Specialist - Japan Focus

As the Senior Intelligence Specialist on Japan at Strider, your job is to advance data collection and product development in support of go-to-market initiatives. The Global Intelligence Group is a core vertical in the company and this role will include trailblazing new methods of data collection and analysis. The Senior Intelligence Specialist will also conduct threat analysis and develop intelligence products for companies, research institutions, and government agencies. The Global Intelligence Group also serves to arm the engineering and sales team with subject matter expertise and lead generation.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and integrate data sources to advance data utilization and threat detection at scale in Strider’s product offerings
• Analyze data and craft risk intelligence products that provide actionable insights for clients
• Track threat actor Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures and enrich Strider’s risk framework and application
• Collaborate across engineering, data science, product, sales, and client success verticals to drive automation, advance product development, and create value for clients
• Create proofs of concepts to support the company’s expansion in Japan

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
• 5+ years of work experience in government or industry on threat intelligence, corporate due diligence, risk analysis, or compliance
• Experience with Japanese corporate registration data and securities or other related work focusing on Japanese companies
• Experience analyzing nation-state activities and conducting adversary research
• Ability to learn new concepts and threat actor Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures  
• Experience delivering intelligence products to corporate or government customers  
• Advanced professional proficiency in Japanese
• Professional proficiency in Chinese a plus
