Job Description
F&G is hiring for a Senior Internal Wholesaler, Life Distribution. This role will be responsible for providing best-in-class phone and web-based support for agents and IMO marketers related to case design, product questions, competitive positioning, illustration software training and more. In addition, the Senior Internal Wholesaler, Life Distribution will deliver outbound call and email campaigns as needed to promote F&G Life products and programs to drive Life sales objectives.
This position will report to the Director, Internal Sales, Life Distribution and will work in conjunction with other Life Distribution Internal Wholesalers as well as partnering to support National Account Managers and National Account VPs.
Expectations
- Efficiently manage high-volume inbound phone and email inquiries, providing quality sales support to agents and marketers
- Initiate proactive sales initiatives in coordination with Life Sales objectives
- Demonstrate thorough, in-depth knowledge of F&G products, practices and procedures
- Provide cross-organizational support to agents and marketers including inquires related to underwriting, contracting and commissions, new business and policyholder support
- Train agents and marketers on F&G illustration software and agent website use; troubleshoot and/or report system issues
- Maintain strong knowledge of life insurance industry and competitive landscape; assist in developing competitive positioning talking points or collateral
- Develop expert knowledge of specific account requirements as they relate to service capabilities and procedures, to include relationships with TPAs, operations, and other F&G departments
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Power Producers and establish opportunities to grow Power Producer participants through self-generated leads as well as through Internal Wholesalers, National Account Managers, National Account VPs and Manager
- Partner with National Account VPs and National Account Managers to assist in new account onboarding
- Assist in development, creation and distribution of marketing materials and sales concepts
- Conduct highly effective web-based sales presentations and trainings
- Provide cross-functional project support as assigned by Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
- 5-7 years relevant experience minimumÂ
- Life product sales support experience preferred, specifically in Indexed Universal Life products in a call center environment
- Highly knowledgeable regarding the life insurance marketplace, products and IMO distribution
- Expert in manipulating illustration software.
- General knowledge on economics and financial planning
- Life and annuity license preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Fast-paced team environment with high-volume inbound and outbound calls
- May require sitting for extended periods of time
- Occasional travel possible
