Job Description

LOCATION:Miami Lakes, FL (Hybrid Schedule)

SUMMARY: Processes and occasionally approves all work associated with letters of credit, acceptances, collections and foreign exchange. Reconciles general ledger and due from accounts. Supports clients with trade transactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

• Processes the issuance, amendments, discrepancies and negotiation of letters of credit
• Processes issuance and discounting of acceptances
• Processes foreign exchange and collections transactions
• May occasionally approve transactions processed by another Analyst
• Reconciles all general ledger and due from accounts handled by the Trade unit
• Balances all transactions effected on a daily basis
• Supports clients with their needs related to their trade transactions
• Familiar with Standby Letter of Credit
• Familiar with Participation transactions and reporting

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 4-6 Years of trade finance experience required
• Accounting background preferred
