Senior iOS Engineer

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer with strong e-commerce industry knowledge to help expand the capabilities of our Alo Yoga app. This role involves leading iOS application development efforts that enhance user engagement and provide seamless shopping experiences. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust app features.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Implement clean, functional interfaces with UIKit and ensure compliance with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
• Design and maintain scalable, reliable APIs with REST and GraphQL. Champion the adoption of MVVM architecture to promote clean, testable, and manageable code.
• Lead the integration and management of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-platform teams to ensure a unified and strategic approach to development.
• Participate in project planning and take a proactive role in problem-solving and innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on e-commerce applications; Shopify experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in SwiftUI, UIKit, and MVVM design patterns. Extensive experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and XCTest.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD systems, specifically GitHub Actions.
• Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating with teams.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the greater LA area and able to work onsite.

The base salary range for this position is $190,000-$230,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
