Senior iOS Engineer - Guest Displays & Platforms

The Community You Will Join:

The Guest Displays & Platforms team owns the main product details page (PDP) that brings together all the listing details and anchors the guest booking flow as well as guest pricing and availability across all Airbnb product surfaces. Our work directly impacts every single guest’s journey to booking travel and experiences on Airbnb!

As a Senior Software Engineer in Guest Displays & Platforms you will drive product projects work cross-functionally with PMs Designers Data Scientists and other folks. We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about owning and improving the foundation upon which our products are built. We are a tightly knit team that thrives on trust and care for each other allowing everyone to bring the best versions of themselves to work. We expect an ideal candidate for this role to share these values and uplift our team’s culture in their own unique way.

The Difference You Will Make:

• Own key company level problem statements and drive critical projects

• Work closely with cross functional partners including PM Design Data and TPM.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning

Your Expertise:

• 5+ years of industry experience building consumer iOS applications at scale

• You’re passionate about UI and Product development: deep knowledge of UI architecture and UI performance with prior experience building delightful and fluid interactions screens and graphics.

• Fluency in Swift and SwiftUI.

• Ability to take a thoughtful pragmatic and efficient approach to problem solving.

• Experience collaborating with product designers especially in a remote capacity.

• Passion to up-level yourself and those around you through curiosity and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

• Bachelors preferably in CS or equivalent industry experience.

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites as agreed to with your manager.
