Senior iOS Software Engineer - Reputation Clients

• Reviews - As a two sided marketplace reviews allows both guests and hosts to recognize and keep each other accountable.

• Superhost - The concept of a host is core to Airbnb the superhost program is built to recognize and reward top hosts for going above and beyond to provide an incredible experience for guests.

• Standards - Airbnb is built on trust the reputation team is tasked with escalating education and enforcement when poor feedback is received.

• Insights - The Reputation team provides data and visualizations to hosts about how they are performing and opportunities they may want to take advantage of.

The Difference You Will Make:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer who is passionate about making a difference through their work. As a senior iOS engineer on the Reputation Clients team you’ll be responsible for building Airbnb’s quality reviews performance insights and reputation products. We aim to build a company-wide quality platform and hospitality system that helps Airbnb and hosts deliver magical stays.

A Typical Day:

• Build and deliver high-quality products in the reviews standards and insights space

• Follow frontend paved path and best practices within a fast-paced tech environment

• Work with cross functional partners (product managers design etc) to define and deliver high-quality products

• Collaborate within and across engineering teams to build systems that are performant scalable and robust

• Collaborate with teammates via code reviews and architecture discussions

Your Expertise:

• 5+ years’ experience developing iOS applications at scale

• Fluency in Swift SwiftUI GraphQL and REST APIs

• Deep understanding of iOS core libraries.

• Strong product sense and a passion for UI and UX product development

• Excellent engineering and coding skills. Solid understanding of client networking performance caching client storage solutions accessibility and asynchronous programming

• Love collaborating via code reviews and architecture discussions and are motivated to improve their teammates’ productivity

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree preferably in CS or equivalent experience

• [Bonus] Experience with animation libraries. Knowledge of animation within SwiftUI

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites as agreed to with your manager.
