Alliant Energy has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior IT Analyst - OIM Developer to join the team in Madison, WI or Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a superb opportunity to plan, analyze, design, code, test, implement and maintain technical solutions, focused on OIM development and administration.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are vital.

*This is a hybrid position and will work remotely and report to the Cedar Rapids, IA or Madison, WI office. Candidates must reside in either Iowa or Wisconsin.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Completes analysis and specifies requirements for moderately complex to sophisticated systems using a broad perspective to identify solutions. Performs technical work that may necessitate the origination and application of innovative ways.
  • Works independently and efficiently to resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
  • Responsible for day-to-day technical support of OIM requirements, including enhancement activity.
  • Design, develop, and implement Identity and Access Management solutions using Java to support business requirements.
  • Be familiar with the OIM data model and SQL to assist in troubleshooting issues.
  • Responsible for translating operational requirements to design software requirements. Plans and completes project systems involving operation, simulation, test or support requirements with real-time applications. Develops documentation associated with computer software and analyzes software data acquired during systems testing.
  • Develops critical measures to evaluate process and system performance improvements. Plans and performs unit and integration testing. Plans and conducts system testing to ensure system reliability prior to implementation. Identifies and assesses probable interactions of inter-related computer systems and anticipates the impact of changes in systems.
  • Plans for the migration of legacy systems to current architecture. Assists with the management of vendor software contracts and license agreements.
  • Works closely with multi-functional teams to determine and document system development business needs and determine optimum computer automation support to satisfy those needs.
  • Maintains current knowledge of information systems and technologies. Recommends changes to design, development, and implementation standards when appropriate. Responsible for technical application development for all stages in the development lifecycle.
  • Provides functional direction and mentoring for various project staff.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in information technology or related area.
  • Expertise in OIM, SOA, WebLogic, BI Publisher Reporting, and be well-versed with Java/J2ee and customizations in OIM.
  • Experience with Java Development / ADF experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Identity Manager, including Customer Connect Development, approval workflows, customer scheduled tasks and reconciliation.
  • Experience developing webservices connectors, i. e. Remedy salesforce, API, Workday etc.
  • Experience using Oracle PL/SQL.
