This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior IT Analyst in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of geospatial technology and IT operations, supporting enterprise GIS environments while enabling data-driven decision-making. You will provide hands-on support, automate workflows, and deliver training that empowers stakeholders across multiple platforms. This position combines technical expertise with user-focused service, giving you the ability to make a tangible impact on operations and data accessibility. You’ll work with cutting-edge tools in ArcGIS, Python scripting, and geospatial automation while collaborating across teams to ensure enterprise GIS solutions are effective, scalable, and well-supported. Accountabilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 help desk support, resolving user issues, documenting workflows, and escalating complex problems
  • Assist with geospatial data engineering and workflows to ensure data availability in both Enterprise and Online ArcGIS environments
  • Design and deliver training sessions on ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Earth, and other ArcGIS toolsets for stakeholders
  • Publish, maintain, and curate content within Enterprise and AGOL platforms
  • Support user administration, report generation, and other system maintenance tasks
  • Develop automation scripts and processes using Python to streamline geospatial workflows and data pipelines
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, IT Management, or related IT field
    • Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT and GIS experience
    • Proficiency in ArcGIS Online and Enterprise portal maintenance, including users, groups, roles, and content management
    • Strong Python scripting skills for geospatial automation using libraries such as arcpy, ArcGIS Python API, and general-purpose Python libraries
    • Experience with ArcGIS Hub, Experience Builder, Survey123, FieldMaps, and other no-code or mobile GIS solutions
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance
    • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver effective training sessions to diverse audiences
