Senior IT Associate
Job Description
- Working knowledge of PC hardware, cabling, software packages, basic TCP/IP, basic LAN topology, installing and troubleshooting PC equipment, Windows 10, 11.
- Utilize Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Active Directory UC to manage users, security groups, distribution groups.
- Manage Enterprise applications in Azure AD.
- Execute implementation projects of innovative technologies to the company such as Windows Hello or SCCM.
- Manage all service calls for task such as software install, hardware repairs, escalated triage.
- Facilitate escalation to 3rd parties to resolve issue with internal systems when necessary.
- Automate task with PowerShell scripting.
- Identify trending issue and provide solutions and documentation on known solutions,
- Work with Jira ticketing software to keep track, record, and manage SLA compliance with incoming ticket.
- Utilize Exchange admin center to manage 0365 group, Distribution groups, calendar, and individual user mailboxes.
- Assisting HR with the technical aspect of Onboarding and Offboarding users
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Test out potential new laptop/desktop models
- Use VMware vSphere to manage Virtual machine creation and resources.
- The availability to work on our Chicago Campus as needed.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccine will be required for anyone whose role requires them to come to Campus.
- Associate degree or foreign equivalent
- 3+ years' experience with IT Helpdesk required
- Proven ability to examine processes, identify and implement efficiencies.
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Jira and Confluence is a plus.
- Prior Knowledge of Cisco Phone System is a plus
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
