Job Description

This position is for a Senior IT Delivery Lead who is a lifetime student, and passionate about the use of technology to achieve business goals. S/he is self-motivated, thrives on working across multiple teams, and can use technology to solve complex business problems. The role focuses in the ERP areas of Quoting, Service Contracts, Subscriptions, and Installed Base. This is a lead position where you will be responsible for working with business and IT leads to drive complex efforts. You will have end to end accountability starting from business case development, to leading the implementations. The first opportunity is to lead the dev/ops team supporting enhancement releases across the services, software and mobile video functional areas, and will subsequently grow into leading larger projects in these functional areas.

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations

  •  Work with business partners across different functional areas to understand their needs, and lead the design, development, testing & implementation of creative solutions

  • Use your business acumen, technical skills, and knowledge of Oracle applications to estimate effort, engage IT resources/partners, and lead solution delivery

  • Maintain a sense of urgency towards timelines and results. Meet commitments, work through challenges, and complete tasks on time and on budget

  • Determine the objectives of an assignment, and exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to achieve measurable business outcomes

  • Proactively manage conflicting priorities, drive prioritization discussions using strategic value, and manage customer expectations

  • Evaluate business processes, uncover areas for improvement, and identify creative ways to help grow our recurring revenue business

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills

  • In depth knowledge and experience working with Oracle CRM/ERP lead to cash systems (Service Contracts, Subscription management, CPQ, OM, and/or Financials)

  • Detail oriented, proactive self-starter, who demonstrates independent thinking and problem solving ability.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse business & technical audiences

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional & geographically dispersed teams

  • Experience with Agile methodology for project, and dev/ops delivery

  • Ability to prioritize projects, manage business case development, and independently lead project teams through implementation 

  • Ability to quickly come up to speed when exposed to multiple business and technical functions

  • Fundamental understanding of organizational change management

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and generate innovative ideas to improve our business with the latest technology

  • Ability to manage risks and issues, and proactively identify potential roadblocks

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of demonstrated experience in Oracle R12 EBS or Oracle Cloud applications

  • OR Master's degree and 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Oracle R12 EBS or Oracle Cloud applications

  • 2+ years experience in overseeing teams either directly or indirectly
