Senior IT Engineer - Remote

As an Operation Engineer, you’ll contribute to projects' production support and testing features end to end, understand how we operate our systems, and help make sure our technology grows and doesn’t become a big pile of tech debt.

• Work side by side with the Operation Team to troubleshoot and assist with problems.
• Perform system updates, and application rollouts, document operation procedures, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend preventative measures.
• Provide programming support, enhancement, and testing on custom-developed applications.
• Work with data models and object-relational database mapping, while producing complex reports.
• Engineer for simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, reusability, and performance.

• A minimum of five years of knowledge and hands-on SQL & ETL development experience.
• Experience with .Net Framework, ASP.Net, C#, SQL, Web Services/Web API, RESTful web services, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, GitHub etc.
• Experience with administrating SQL databases / RedPoint and maintaining server availability and backup management.
• Experience working in a continuous integration and deployment environment.
• Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong customer focus, ability to juggle many tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Azure Services Domain Skills will be a plus. 
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
